What Are 20” Wedding Sparklers?

20" Wedding SparklersUsing sparklers at a wedding has become a regular tradition in recent years, and along with that popularity has brought with it a whole barrage of inventive and unique types of wedding sparklers. Depending on how you are intending to use your wedding sparklers, it can be a daunting task to determine which size or shape is right for your wedding. Luckily, since many people have weighed in on the matter, 20” wedding sparklers have emerged as the most popular choice for both price and duration.

20” wedding sparklers are special in the fact that they feature a steel wire core rather than bamboo. This allows you to use them indoors, which is vital for most wedding ceremonies and receptions, because they produce very little smoke. This means that even with 200 guests lighting and using 20” wedding sparklers in an enclosed area, you will still be able to breathe easy knowing that you won’t be suffocated.  This simply isn’t the case with other types of sparklers, which is why the need for 20” wedding sparklers was essential in the first place.

Additionally, this “smokeless” design is in part accredited to the composition of sparklers themselves. Rather than the traditional cocktail of toxic chemicals found in sparklers made for the 4th of July or New Year’s Eve celebrations, 20” wedding sparklers are comprised of a unique blend of chemicals that are much less harmful and produce much less smoke. This yields a pleasant experience for everyone at your wedding while using 20” wedding sparklers without needing to worry about any toxic fumes.

A large part of the popularity that 20” wedding sparklers have gained is the length of time that they burn in comparison to the price you pay. If you buy shorter wedding sparklers, you will need to buy several more of them per person to prevent running out too soon. If you buy longer sparklers, the price per sparklers goes up exponentially and you may find your guest standing around not knowing what to do while they’re waiting for their sparkler to finish burning. So in the end, 20” wedding sparklers are the best mix of price and duration, which is why they have catapulted to the top of the food chain in the wedding sparklers marketplace.

Electric Violinist playing at Wedding Ceremony in New Jersey

Click on the following link to see the YouTube video:

http://www.musicnewjersey.com

New York  Area Classical musician, Susan H., is seen performing during a New Jersey wedding ceremony. In this video clip she is playing "Fly Me to the Moon."

Brides and grooms don't always choose the typical classical tunes that we are all familiar with. Your wedding should reflect your personality; for most of us, certain songs reflect who we are and what we like. In this particular case, the bride wanted certain popular tunes as her guests entered the sanctuary and during the ceremony itself. Included in her choice were songs that most of us would recognize as rock music.

Susan, the violinist, plays the electric violin; with the electric violin, you can get that gritty sound that gives certain pieces of music an edge. Obviously, she also plays a regular violin. We like the electric violin because of the variety of music and sounds that a performer can get out of it.

This type of music is great for weddings, dinners, cocktail parties, corporate events, fundraisers, fashion shows, etc. With the versatility of an electric violin, the music amps up the "cool" factor, even if the music is classical.

Susan is available for parties and events in:   New York, New Jersey or Connecticut.

To reserve Susan for your own "cool" event, fill out the contact form below:

Where Can I Buy Wedding Cake Sparklers?

Wedding Cake SparklersThere are always new and inventive items coming out to make your wedding celebration even more memorable and spectacular. This was the motivation behind wedding cake sparklers, which is a twist on an old classic. While many people have seen or heard of cake sparklers being used at birthdays, anniversaries, and other types of events, the concept of using them on your wedding cake is relatively new. With a rough economy and uncommonly tight wedding budget, we thought we’d save you the time trouble of finding the best places to buy wedding cake sparklers by making a short list of options.

Wedding Day sparklers

Wedding Day Sparklers is the industry leader in retail wedding sparklers and other novelty items for use at your wedding. With a huge selection and the lowest prices you’ll find anywhere, they are certainly a prime choice for finding a great selection of wedding cake sparklers and other unique items.

The Wedding Sparklers Store

Another name that is well known in the annals of wedding planners is The Wedding Sparklers Store. While this company is relatively new to the scene, their customer service, low prices, and nice selection have skyrocketed them into one of the top spots for retail wedding sparklers and novelties including a fine selection of wedding cake sparklers.

Buy Wedding Sparklers

This is a newly emerging company, and my favorite thing about them is their intensely graphical and easy to use website. Buy Wedding Sparklers offers the same great array of wedding sparklers, sky lanterns, wooden roses, and party poppers as their competition; but their website is by far the most user-friendly. This makes finding the wedding cake sparklers you want even easier, and you won’t spend a fortune in the process.

There are a few key things to keep in mind when planning to make a wedding cake sparklers purchase. Be sure that you are always finding the best price, but don’t sacrifice quality as a result. Sometimes the best value isn’t the lowest price, and wedding cake sparklers are no exception to that rule.

While most wedding cake sparklers are completely safe to use with food, it’s important to know what you’re getting before you order. Companies other than the ones we have listed above usually buy knockoff items or products labeled for other purposes, so the result is a bunch of wedding cake sparklers that ruin the flavor of your cake or render the entire thing useless because they leave too much residue on to frosting to make it even remotely appealing to eat. By sticking to the “big 3” companies listed above, you can rest assured that you will receive high quality wedding cake sparklers that will work as advertised.

Wedding Trends & Design!!

A wedding is a reflection of you, of who you are, of your personal style, one of my personal advices to you; is to work closely with your designer on whatever it takes to make your wedding day beautiful and stress free. Always start from the top of your vision and idea of the wedding of your dreams and tailor it down to feet your floral and design budget. Designing and planning a wedding is like telling a story and it’s the flowers and design that will set the tone for the way the story unfolds.

Trick of the trade, always work with what is in season, plan your wedding in a very organized manner, and create a map of what you would like your wedding to look like. Flowers and design is the second mort important part of your wedding first come the dress along with the venue and then come flowers and design.

Before you even start considering any trends, you should ask yourself if they will work with your personality or your dream wedding. I believe not all trends will fit every personality and styles. A wedding should be personalize, reflecting the couples style and more importantly TIMELESS.

  • What we are seeing these days is the use of monochromatic color palette combinations, with organic elements such as succulents, berries, and pods.
  • The bridal bouquet is being designed with the use of two to three floral elements, incorporating different types of stones and/or crystals. Also some brides wish to incorporate keepsakes into their bouquets (usually wrapped around the stem) like a grandmother’s rosary or a mother’s necklace.
  • The use of two different color combinations that complement each other is one of the most stylish design trends these days, for example; green and magenta, green and orange, green and yellow as well as all green bouquets. Another current trend in this category is the combination with browns. Despite the current trends, my favorite is always a bold colorful bouquet.

  • The trends in terms of size and style of a wedding bouquet, is to keep it in scale with the design of the wedding gown, using elements of all your favorite flowers. In this case the bride should have the bouquet that she has always dreamed of on her wedding day. I believe that the bridal bouquet should reflect an amazing unison between the gown and bride’s personality.

  • I have always believed that when you start planning your wedding and set your wedding date, you should also do research to see if your favorite flowers will be in season. I have had meetings with clients who ask for their favorite flowers but they are out of season and impossible to get without spending a large amount of money. So seasonal flowers always need to be considered when choosing the wedding date along with the wedding décor.
  • Many trends can be applied depending on the time of the year and the place where you are planning your wedding.
  • My most important tip on saving on your wedding décor is to always ask for what is in season, so your bill will not go out of your budget.  Also, try to see if you can re-use the flowers from a different part of your celebration.

What Is A Wooden Rose?

Wooden RosesMost people have never heard of wooden roses, and there’s good reason why. The flower industry has gone through great lengths to keep wooden roses out of the public eye because they are much less expensive than real roses and last nearly forever. For this reason and others, it is in the flower industry’s best interests to keep potential customers in the dark to keep them paying the high cost for real roses rather than buying wooden roses.

Made from quality materials, wooden roses offer many other benefits versus real roses as well. They are constructed from birch wood for the petals and fabric for the leaves, which makes them nearly indestructible. They also have a bendable wire stem that is perfect for wrapping around items to display the wooden roses very easily. They are also made by hand, which means that the quality you get when buying wooden roses will be second to none.

One way that many couples are choosing to use their wooden roses is as centerpieces to place on their reception tables. By simply adding some wooden roses to an ordinary vase, you can create beautiful centerpieces that will look fantastic in the center of your tables. The hidden benefit with this is that your guests can take some wooden roses home with them as a wedding favor, which can save you some money by making them a dual purpose item.

Overall, the possibilities for replacing real roses and flowers with wooden roses are pretty much limitless. I’ve even heard of soon-to-be brides replacing the flowers in their bridal bouquet with wooden roses to save a little extra money and help to preserve it for future memories. While this isn’t the most common way to use wooden roses, it certainly goes to show that with a little ingenuity and creativity, there’s really not much you can’t do with wooden roses for a much better price than real roses.

A Closer Look at Bottle Sparklers

Bottle SparklersBottle sparklers are fast growing in popularity, and there’s good reason why. With so many uses from VIP bottle service at bars and nightclubs to using them at your wedding reception, the ways to use bottle sparklers is virtually endless. With so many great ways to use them at venues and events, we thought we would take a closer look at bottle sparklers to help generate some fun ideas and ways to use them.

Bottle sparklers are almost precisely what the sound like; a sparkler that you use to enhance a bottle. With that said they are slightly different from a standard type of sparkler because they emit more of a fountain style effect that cascades showers sparks out of the top instead of burning along a stick. This gives champagne bottle sparklers a much higher visibility and more excitement compared to other more common styles of sparklers.

Bottle sparklers can also be a great way to make your bottle sales skyrocket. When using bottle sparklers to draw attention to their VIP bottle service, some bars and nightclubs have watched sales gains of as much as a 45% increase. This is primarily because of the amount of attention that bottle sparklers have to offer, and once a group has some drinks in them, this amount of attention is highly saleable. Bottle sparklers have also found a niche in the restaurant industry, with many places using them to highlight or showcase a dessert that they want to sell more of.

More recently, bottle sparklers have begun to be used at wedding receptions as a method to add some whimsy to the normally boring champagne toast. Instead of just opening up bottles and filling glasses, you can turn the event into a priceless piece of entertainment very easily by adding some bottle sparklers to the bottles and making it a spectacle all its own. Guests enjoy the additional fun this offers, and the newly married couple will be the toast of the town well after the last bottle of champagne has been emptied.

Alternative Bouquets

Aside from the wedding dress, many brides spend a large chunk of their budget on flowers. But there are alternatives, if you are brave enough. Opting for a nontraditional bridal bouquet can save you money and add a bit of personality to your accessories. For a fun and color-filled theme, consider lollipops or balloons. If you are a spiritual person, honor that by carrying a symbol of your religion.

Some brides may pay tribute to a loved one who can’t attend the special day by incorporating a personal item into a traditional bouquet.

These non-floral bouquets will be unforgettable, make for great pictures, and be a timeless keepsake from your big day. Here are a few ideas to make your bouquet as special as you.
